Dear Editor:
It was with shock and disbelief that I learned of Councillor Tim Belch's quashing of a motion that would have put an end to the hare-brained Millbrook water diversion project! Good for Councillor Fern Armstrong who introduced the motion and Councillor Jim Chaplin who supported it, but how sad that - having come so close to ending this divisive and unpopular project - it should be defeated for lack of one supporting vote.
